The Engine House
Originally used as stables, The Engine House has now been converted to a cosy studio suitable for two guests, with a garden to the rear of the property furnished with wood table and chairs.
The Engine House has been awarded Gold standard 4 star accommodation.
The kitchen/dining room is on the ground floor and is open above to the ridge of the roof and its green oak rafters. The kitchen is fitted with an oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
A stone step leads down to the living room area complete with digital TV and DVD player and CD player. Wi-Fi is available in all three cottages. One of the comfy leather 2 seater settees can be opened up to become a bed, providing extra sleeping accommodation.
The bathroom is situated on the ground floor with whirlpool bath to relax and ease away the strain of everyday life. Large and small towels provided for each guest. Underfloor heating provides a comforting warmth.
Climb the cast iron spiral staircase to the hay loft with super-king sized bed and sleep soundly between 100% cotton sheets. An ideal location for a romantic trip away from home with underfloor heating throughout and a wood burner with basket of logs also provided.
Laundry facilities are tucked quietly away in The Piggery with washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes airer for our guests’ use. Stunning views from your garden extend along the Cam Valley, and each garden is furnished with wooden table and chairs.
On arrival you will find a traditional cream tea waiting for you with scones, clotted cream, home made jam, tea and coffee.
